Gabrielle's first release in 2010 was her Acoustic EP. This was released via her own label which was named 'Never Fade Records'. The label was formed in 2010 (by Gabrielle Aplin and James Barnes) as a way for Gabrielle to release her music independently. The label has continues to sign several artists including Hannah Grace and Saint Raymond.
Her second release was another EP named 'Never Fade' in 2011, which took a folk-rock influence. This included 4 tracks.
In 2012, it was announced that Gabrielle had signed to Parlophone Records. In the same year, Gabrielle was announced to be the voice for the John Lewis Christmas advert. She covered 'The Power of Love' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The song became number 1 on the UK Singles Chart. The first release from Parlophone Records was the song named 'Please Don't Say You Love Me' in February 2013.
Gabrielle released her debut album named 'English Rain' in 2013. It became number 2 on the Scottish and UK Album Charts; it also was in the charts in Australia, Ireland and New Zealand.
More recently, Gabrielle released her third studio album in January 2020 called 'Dear Happy'. She released this through her own label, Never Fade Records and featured a deluxe version of the album too which contained a massive 28 tracks - with acoustic versions! This offers a nice contrast and a mix for any style.
